The Dermal Filler Treatment

The injection sites are thoroughly cleansed prior to the treatment. Various distraction tools are used to make the procedure as comfortable as possible, including ice and vibration tools. Anesthetics are not required for all dermal filler treatments, but are available upon request, which include topical numbing cream and inhaled nitrous oxide gas (also known as laughing gas). The dermal fillers are carefully injected into the chosen areas of enhancement.

Dermal Filler Recovery

After dermal filler treatment, your treatment area may feel tender for a couple of days. Bruising, redness, and swelling can occur but will fade away shortly. Your injector will give you proper post-treatment instructions to follow depending on the dermal filler received to ensure you achieve the best result.
